Does anyone have stuff pertaining to ethanol production for sale?

Maybe this would be a good place to list your surplus equipment, like for instance: I have an extra "Alcohol Can Be A Gas" book I would like to sell. My girl friend bought me one, not knowing I already had one. It is new and still wrapped in plastic. I would like to get $30 for it. Notify me if anyone is interested.

Also, I'm looking for a still. I wolud like it's production to be about 2 gal. per hour. If anyone has one for sale or wants to build one for me, you can contact me and we can discuss the details.

I hope this post will stimulate additional activity thoughout our ethanol community.

Thanks,

Im not looking to start a business or anything, but I would put a still together for someone if they want one and arent good with metal work. Now the fellow who lives down the road a bit from me owns a machine/welding/fabrication shop and he is also willing to build them. I can do the small stuff with copper pretty easily, he can work with stainless or other metals that I am not equipped to weld or machine.

I have a couple friends in Nebraska I have been meaning to get a copy of ACBAG, I was going to take them a copy this spring when I head home.
There was someone who posted about a still made from PVC. That has to be less expensive than one made from copper. I figure that a 55 gal. drum with a removable lid would make a great boiler. Just weld some bungs on and insert electric hot water heater elements. The Charles 803 could bolt to the top with Stainless Steel hardware and an alcohol resistant gasket. I can do the drum work down here and would just need the column with a flange say off a toilet to connect the column to the boiler/drum.

Let me know what you think. I do better on the phone than with email. There is too much to say about what we are doing to write it all down.

Thanks,
