I am looking for a fuel coop close to Akron OH to purchase whole sale fuel for my big rig. I have done well with veggie oil now I want to tinker with alcohol, I believe it is more renewable and want to eventually make my own
on the main site http://www.permaculture.com/ look under the alcohol can be a gas tab and click on alcohol stations...there is a map showing known stations selling E85...not sure how current it is...
thanks, I know of that resource. what I really want to find is an independent producer like a coop that David Blume encourages that is close to where I am at. I am looking for a local farmer who make alcohol fuel in NE OHIO.
I drive a big rig and will be using several hundred gallons a week. when I used veggie oil I used 500 gallons a week this time around I want to blend veggie oil and alcohol probably 70/30 as per David's suggestion.

Look at the Groups section. There is group called Northeastern Ohio Ethanol Producers. I don't know what they are up to these days, but they were talking about building a 12 inch still and using sweet sorghum as the feedstock. Maryanne was the leader of this group.
