ALCOHOLICS UNANIMOUS

Community Forum For "Alcohol Can Be A Gas" Readers

I'm sorry to report that Robert Jackman passed away on Sunday, Dec. 7th 2008 due to injuries he received in a traffic collision. His truck was hit from the side by the driver of a VW Passat who was alledgedly driving at a high rate of speed and ran a red light. The driver of the VW was died at the scene. I am an extended family member and I'm using a pseudonym for this post to remain anonymous.

I've attached a copy of the Police press release for the accident and a link to a newspaper report. It doesn't specifically name Mr. Jackman, but confirmation will be obtainable in the next few days. I will post details of the Memorial services as soon as they are available.

Dang I just can not believe Robert is no longer here, he was always ready to jump in and help with every single question that people had. He sure was a solder fighting for all of us, trying to make a change on the way this country runs on fuel. Farewell my friend!!!!!!
