Briggs & Stratton engine question.
Hi.
I have a Briggs & Stratton 17.5 horsepower, over head valve, Industrial/Commercial engine with a NIKKI carb. on it. Does anyone know how to tune this to run E85?
I have been running E85 through it with no problems but I have to run with the choke half on to get it to run smoothly. It has a noticeable horsepower increase and just flat out runs smoother. Its awesome to smell the exhaust with the ethanol fumes-) I can mow tall grass in my normal gear with no problems now.
The model of the engine is: 31C707
