I have read many technical books over the years and Mr. Blume's "Alcohol Can Be A Gas" is one of the most informative, enlightening, and practically useful books I have ever had the pleasure to read. The citations and scientifically peer reviewed nature of the book is immensely impressive. In short it changed my views on alternative energy and changed my life. Thank you Mr. Blume for your bravery and dedication in bringing the truth about alcohol fuel to the world.

About Me:

I am a college student in Texas. In December 2009 I will be graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelors Degree in Physics. I stumbled upon David Blume's amazing text almost 1.5 years ago and the knowledge gained from reading it has literally shaped the direction of my engineering career.

Deep in the heart of oil country, I see the atrocities of the oil industry first hand on a daily basis. In fact, I can see it all right across the street from where I go to school. I see many of my fellow engineering students go blindly into the oil industry simply for the money, ignoring the tearing apart of our nation. Knowing the truth and having a fundamental understanding of the science, I simply could not ignore the promise of a brighter future with alcohol as an energy source. I intend to start a company based upon Mr. Blume's book within the next few years.
