If you get a kit, I'm pretty sure you can run on anything from 100% gas to 100% alcohol. Have you read the book?

What kind of car do you have? I have 2004 MINI Cooper and all it will take is a $370 converter to run 100% alcohol but I currently don't have an alcohol source right now, but I plan to change that in the near future.
