thats pretty awesome you did your PDC with Mollison, he's one of my heros! I did mine in the UK with some of the top guys out there and they really have some different ways of doing things over there. Its very interesting to see the diversity the permaculture is taking and how its branching off in ways that im sure even mollison never intended.

Thats awesome, 17 people is a pretty darn good turn out!
Did you organize the meetup?
I'm spending the majority of my free time trying to learn this stuff and start an alochol fuel station in Gainesville. Hopefully others are doing the same all around FL.

Hey Ken,
Thanks for clearing up the PDC thing. Makes perfect sense now!
I think its awesome that you are striving to grow such a high percentage of your families food. Do you know any other people in St. Pete that are as into this as you?
Do you have an ethanol source in St. Pete?

Hey Ken,
What is PDC?
Do you have a piece of land set up permaculturally? I'm in the process of learning permaculture. I have Mollisons Designer Manual and Introduction to Permaculture. I have Blumes book, Gaia's Garedn, Food Not Lawns and some movies too.
I'm ready to buy a $370 conversion kit for my MINI Cooper, but I need to find an alcohol source. I'm working in it. Hopefully all us Florida people can make this happen!!!
Nice to meet you,
Robby

What do you have to say about Dave's book "Alcohol Can Be A Gas"?
I've not read it yet, but will order it very soon
About Me:
Did my PDC with Geoff Lawton and Bill Mollison at Minden LA in October of 2000. I'm passionate about permaculture, and sustainable design. I really get that alcohol is the way for a locally produced, economical fuel source.
