hi again - in answer to your question - I have only watched the DVD, read major portions of the book, watched as many YouTube videos featuring David Blume and others as I can. I continue to pick up the book and read new sections or reread others.
After my initial enthusiasm for building my own still immediately, a sense of reality has set in as I realized I really don't have the time (right now) to go around collecting waste products to make a mash, however, I do have time to look into getting permissions, licencing, what have you, which are necessary first steps anyway.
So I am now focused on finding out the process of being a legal ethanol producer, while also looking actively for possible partners/coop members to start up a driver/consumer owned fueling station dispensing ethanol manufatured by some suitable farm coop. Again I expect this will be a time consuming process dealing not only with the provincial government but the local municipalities as well.
The reason for the shift in my personal focus from making my own to simply distributing fuel is that there are no E-85 fuel sources anywhere in Toronto. So I think the first and best thing I could do here would be to get it into the city and make it available to others who want to use it. Once it is here being used and once an organization is working together supplying it then it would be easier to take the next step of organizing a waste collection and processing facility.
Hello Patrick. I would like to invite you to join our discusion group called "Liquor Control Board of Ontario". Despite the catchy name, it is the place for Canadians to get together and share info about ethanol production and distribution in Canada. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sorry about the long winded comment.
