Hi Robby; It was great to chat with you tuther day. Thanks for all your insights and help.

David has suggested that I add the letters I have written to various people, to this site. Do I start my own group, or a blog or what?

Much thanks, J.

The farming operation begins with a massive reclamation effort for an old "played out" farm--it will be small steps for us to begin. I am hopeful of permaculture concepts in guiding the process.

My wife and I started test plots of different heirloom veggies last year and will continue this season.

If you have specific questions about plans, ask away--I have so many ideas shoehorned in my mind, sometimes they are difficult to retrieve without a good prompt.

I have a 1988 Honda Prelude 2.0SI. I ran two full tanks of E85 in my car without any modifications. I didn't notice any real big driveability changes, except a little lag on the acceleration. It was a little bit harder to start and I got about eighteen mpg where I normally will get closer to thirty. I can't take the plung into total E85 because I have to go outside my town once in a while.

Thanks for the reply Robby, I hope he can come our way, it sure would be easier to reach him than having to go out west, and I hope my foot is healed real soon I'm chomping at the bit to get back to making some real alcohol, if you know what I mean for fuel that is. I don't drink the stuff only burn it.

Hey Robbie I would be interested in a Dave Blume workshop on the east coast lets see if we can get him to come out and teach us some new tricks of the trade. Let me know if you have any way of getting him to commit.
Thanks Mike

When I do I'll Probably convert using the White Lightning kit. I think that's the one that Dave recommends in his book.
