What do you have to say about Dave's book "Alcohol Can Be A Gas"?
No other book points to a more immediate and thorough solution to our problems with energy, food production, pollution, economics, and national security. It really is quite simple and profound at the same time.
I am an electrical contractor in the Puget Sound area of Washington State about 30 miles SE of Seattle. My company is Cascade Mountain Energy Inc. and up to now I have primarily done industrial work in the area of municipal water systems. But currently I have scaled back and am now preparing to refocus in the area of renewable energy such as wind generators, solar photovoltaics, and micro-hydro power. I recently installed the first wind generator, a Skystream 3.7, in the city of Enumclaw Washington.
I am looking for people to partner with in this venture. I am also wanting to develop a retail side of the business in the areas of energy efficiency, renewable energies, and self sufficiency. So the field of Alcohol Fuel production and vehicle conversions fits perfectly with the direction of the company.
The business is in Ravensdale WA, and I live east of there in the foothills of the Cascades on 24 beautiful acres that I am wanting to develop utilizing the principals of Permiculture. The property has varied rolling terrain, covered mostly with evergreen trees, is south facing, has a 1/4 mile of year round creek running through it with a water fall, and is surrounded by the Cascade Mountains. I love this place and my goal is to create a self sufficient homestead here. I call the place Starwood.
