Thanks for the info Re copper Scrubber location.
The Scrubbers I bought were 3" x 1". Robert must be buying much smaller Scrubbers.
He asked for 4 Scrubbers. I will be lucky to stuff 2 of my size below the plate.

Hello Sod....
I'm a first timer here and after reading some of the text I thought I might inject something. I have a 2004 Ford F-150 5.4L. I decided to try E85 a little at a time.1st tank and tried 25% E85,worked great saw and smelled the difference right away.2nd tank I went with 50% E85 and saw no problems at all.3rd tank I went 100% E85 and before I got home my engine light came on.I figured it was the oxygen sensor not knowing what hit it,so I ran it about a 4 days and topped off with regular gas the light went out and never saw any other problems.

Hi Sodbuster,
Thanks! I'm seriously considering going the permaculture route outlined in ACBAG. Do you know anyone who has done the fish aquaculture / mushrooms / worms coupled with hydroponic greenhouse growing? Are there potential problems with pathogens from the fish poop causing problems (including health issues with consuming the produce) with the vegetables in the greenhouses? Or the other way around?

I'm still researching all that and I'm thinking of building a temporary fish tank/mushroom & worm/greenhouse to test out the concepts (before I spend the money to build it in concrete).
I'm closing on 17.8 acres in Waldoboro, ME on 1-Dec-2008 for building the pilot plant (construction starting next spring). I will also be building an earth-sheltered home on the lot and moving up to Maine and selling my house in Mass. After the bugs are worked out at the pilot plant, we will be expanding in the Northeast.
I talked with Dave Blume about doing an online knowledgebase. He directed me to this forum, which is great, but a knowledgebase will organize hard facts and knowledge is a better way. I'll build one in the Havethanol.com website soon. Initially I'll distill (so to speak) the info from this forum to create the basic structure as well as show folks what can be done with it. Hopefully Dave will like it enough to link to it from alcoholcanbeagas.com (or permaculture.com). We really need to organize info so that folks don't need to keep reinventing the wheel.
I will initially be using waste food, farm waste, and waste kelp (from a carageenan plant near Waldoboro) for feedstocks. Has anyone determined what the two companies that manufacture cellulase are (that Dave mentions in ACBAG)?

Regards,
Dave

Hi Sodbuster,
My website for my Prius is www.phevprius.blogspot.com Auto Be Yours in Southern Indiana is putting an 07 salvage car back together for me with the plug in pack from Plug in Supply. I will be able to go 15 miles at 52 mph and under on battery power only. Or, I can use the second pack and get about 1100 miles per tank. My goal is to put a white lightening kit in the car and then run 100% ethanol with the extended battery pack. That would give me about 1100 miles for about 15.00 or so regardless of the price of gas!
My other current project is a solar array from www.bauerpower.com They just opened up an office in Dunlap, Illinois which is only about 45 minutes from me.
No, it's fine you have the still picture. It's your baby..you built it and nourished it. I just adopted it! It is great workmanship and a real great still! I am working on a website for my fledgling business and I am going to post that picture there. My email is saintjerome@yahoo.com

Sedalia huh? My family is from their!!!! I remember going up north every summer and getting made fun of for my southern draw. LOVE that place!! Always reminded me of a Norman Rockwell painting. Sedalia also hosts the MO state fair, great event to attend. Does the name Hugleman ring a bell? My great grandmother was the City Clerk for years and my great grandfather used to own a bar. Lot's of great childhood memories in Sedalia. Again, please take no offense to my spelling comment as my Obsessive Compulsive Disorder comes out in full force sometimes. LOL!!!
