Anyone processing cattail rhizomes for ethanol?
I borrowed a neighbor's DR chipper/shredder and it chopped up the undried as well as the dried rhizomes. I don't see the point in the extra step in drying the rhizomes unless you plan on storing th...

- It is not detailed enough. He needs to spell everything out in the most minute detail.
He talks about cattails being great to make ethanol, but does not tell how to do it.

I know of cattails being harvested with a lift-shaker that is PTO powered...it works well in the right soil...
Does anyone have a tried and true recipie for cattail mash?
