Thanks for the support. All I know about fuel alcohol is what I've read in David's book but I figure if I don't get a still I'll never learn anything more. I'm thinking of buying a pre-made still from Jack McCoy. - http://www.e85machines.com/e85.htm - It's expensive, $1,600 but is most everything I'll need.
I've found that I can get molasses for $200/Ton. At 70 gallons of alcohol/Ton that works out to be about $3/gal. Not a bad start and a low enough price to get peoples attention.

this was the greatest information i have recieved. to think we can feed everyone with quality food. get rid of oil dependency. and the pollution from emission from oil burning motors. and every dollars stays in america. whow!
