Meeting industry in trouble

The Meeting industry is in as much trouble or worse (since the companies going under are the ones who have the meetings) but this business supports more than those of us who do the shows. This effects everyone (in some way) in what ever town meetings are promenade. From the staff of the hotels (check in, maids, maintenance workers, waiters, set up people, bartenders, etc...)to the Theme parks (in our case) who these people go to in many cases renting a section of the park for parties to the local merchant to serves these people to the locals. Let alone the benefit's to the attendees them selfs; training, motivation and open networking that can't be done most else where else than human one on one meetings.
