Community Forum For "Alcohol Can Be A Gas" Readers

Hey guys tell me what you think of this alternative fuel WATER of all things. It breaks down water into its two components which when injected into the air intake help reduce the gas, grease, alcohol or any other type of fuel. Please review and post back.

I drew up plans for one when I was in high school back in the 60s... I had some idea that it could be a perpetual motion machine but my chemistry teacher explained the laws of themodynamics to me and I didn't build it at the time. ( Used the parts to make a bong or something useful LOL ) Laws one and two of thermodynamics simplified are You Can't win, You can't break even,
My son showed me plans for one he had found on the internet and I explained why it wouldn't work. Then we built one out of laying around parts. It seems to have increased my gas mileage by more than 20%. Suprise suprize!!! When he asked me why this was, I had to guess that when you are dealing with something as inefficient as the infernal combustion engine improvements can result from unexpected processes.
My splitter draws up to 25 amps and splits about 10 oz of water in 100 miles. My math says that amount of hydrogen has the energy to account for less than 1% of that mileage increase. What do I know?? I expect my alternater to wear out quicker but new brushes are no big deal. I'll post a picture on my page next week.

thanks. using more fuel to make the H2.

Hi Hal,

Yes adding an appropriate amount of H2 to the air/fuel mix will improve combustion. The problem with methods like this is generating enough H2 on board the vehicle. This is asking the engine to divert power from moving the car to generating electricity to run an electrolyzer to produce the H2 used to move the car. In the end just doesn't add up.

It looks like this site has many good ideas but I don't think they're worth the cost.
